The principle of operation of a GPS tracker for a car

The GPSM U9 is equipped with GPS, GLONASS and GSM modules. The device determines its own location and sends the received information to the GPSM monitoring server. The data is processed and transferred to the mobile application and the satellite monitoring site, in which a personal account will be created for you after the purchase and installation of the device.

A regular SIM card is installed in the GPS tracker. The range of the device is not limited, since the GSM coverage of the mobile operator is used. You can install a SIM card of any operator (Kyivstar, Vodafone, Lifecell). Also, the GPS tracker can work abroad using roaming. In case of low-quality coverage of the mobile network, the tracker will save the data on the route of movement to the built-in memory card with a volume of 128 MB, and when the connection is restored, it will transfer the information to the server without losing the trajectory.

Remote engine blocking

The engine is blocked by breaking the ignition supply circuit using the control relay. To stop the car, it is enough to send a command from the mobile application, the GPSM U9 GPS tracker will start measuring the vehicle's speed and when the speed drops to 5 km per hour or less, the tracker breaks the ignition supply circuit and the car stops.

The engine lock and unlock function is activated in the Local GPSM mobile application. To block you need to press the "Block" button, to unblock you need to press "Unblock".

Also, it is possible to block and unblock the engine with an SMS command. It is impossible to start the car until the second SMS command is received, which cancels the blocking.

After installation work, the client is provided with a login and password to enter the personal account of the GPSM monitoring system.

4. Report on parking. The parking report is formed by an intuitive principle: the “Parking” table contains data about the start of the parking, the duration of the downtime, the end of the downtime, data on the location of the parking is also recorded - the address is indicated.

5. Report on visits to geofences. If you mark the objects or territories of interest to you on the map, then when passing through these selected areas, data on such an event will be displayed in the table of the "Visits to geofences" report.
