Equipment installation procedure

Installation of GPS monitoring system components for MAZ trucks is carried out in a service center. Warranties are provided for all work and equipment performed. Installation, connection and configuration of the complex is carried out in the following sequence:

1. Installing a GPS tracker. The device is discreetly placed in the cab of a truck in a hard-to-reach place, so that it is difficult to find it. Remote antennas of GPS and GSM transmitting elements are mounted on external surfaces.

2. Installation of an electronic fuel level sensor PRO Sensor. The device is placed in the geometric center of the fuel tank to improve the measurement accuracy. The device is connected to a GPS tracker, it provides data transmission on fuel consumption in real time. The sensor records the fact and volumes of diesel fuel draining during parking and in the process of movement.

3. Cable installation (connection of GPS tracker and FLS fuel level sensor). If the bus can not be laid through the standard wiring channels, a metal hose is additionally used to protect the cable from damage. The wiring is fastened with nylon clamps with a pitch of 15-20 cm, so as to exclude its contact with moving parts or overheated surfaces. This avoids mechanical and thermal damage to the insulation.

4. FLS calibration. The procedure is carried out after installing and cutting the sensor to the height of the fuel tank. Setting up the device is carried out in two stages: when fully immersed in fuel by pressing the "Calibrate full" button and dry - the "Calibrate empty" button. For this, the device is removed from the diesel fuel.

5. Tank calibration. The procedure of filling the tank is carried out in order to set the corresponding volume of fuel to each value of the sensor. The applied calibration method and the equipment used provide an extremely low error of no more than 0.005%. The volumes of fuel are determined for each tank individually, which makes it possible to take into account its shape and the presence of internal partitions.

6. Sealing. This is necessary to ensure the protection of equipment from unauthorized interference and avoids controversial issues during operation, diagnostics and maintenance. Sealing of components is carried out in all places where access to the devices is possible. In this case, proven materials are used: under mechanical stress, they are completely destroyed without the possibility of restoration or peeling off.

Upon completion of the work, the operability of the GPS tracker system for the dump truck is checked in the presence of the customer. Hand-over tests allow the client to make sure that the equipment is installed and connected correctly, after which he is given access to enter his personal account (login and password).
