The FMT100 model from the Lithuanian manufacturer Teltonika is a compact waterproof GNSS / GSM tracker with the possibility of autonomous operation. It is designed to track the trajectory of a vehicle. The sensitive GNSS / GSM module ensures the accuracy of data on the movement of the vehicle up to 3 meters. The model is tailored for the tasks of insurance telematics, but it can also be used as a standard tracking device. The miniature tracker can be easily and quickly installed in the car. The IP65 case design ensures dust protection and reliable operation in all weather conditions.
FMT100 is equipped with a built-in power supply (lithium-ion battery, 170 mAh), which enables autonomous operation. It can also operate from an on-board DC network of 10-30 V and has an overvoltage protection mechanism.
The device has an internal sensor that combines the functions of a three-axis accelerometer and a gyroscope and allows detailed tracking of data on emergency incidents and vehicle movement at this time. Thanks to a data frequency of 200 Hz, you can analyze in detail the moment of an accident and find out its true cause.
The device supports Bluetooth (specification 4.0 + LE), which allows connecting climate sensors and other external devices. You can also make phone calls using a wireless headset (eliminating unauthorized incoming calls).
The model is equipped with a USB port and a SIM card slot. It has 128 MB of internal memory and 2 status lights. Also, the tracker is equipped with a socket that allows you to quickly connect the power cable to the battery. The gain of the large built-in GNSS antenna allows the device to be mounted directly on the vehicle battery under the hood.
