Logistics helps to manage the work of the courier service. Using the service, you can assign couriers for delivery, track its implementation, analyze the current work of the service and spend less in the future. The online version of the service is used by the logistician to add orders, give them to performers, optimize routes and monitor delivery. Couriers and other mobile employees use the app for smartphones.
How the application works
Functions of the online version of Logistics
With the help of the desktop version all 4 stages of delivery are controlled:
- Order registration. Creation or loading of new orders with a detailed description.
- Routes formation. The choice of a specific order, the selection of transport for it, the construction of a route with the calculation of travel time and mileage.
- Routes observation. Online monitoring of vehicle movement to the customer and communication with couriers by phone or via internal chat.
- Report generation. Paper routes and other types of reports are automatically generated by the service for each order.
Any order goes through all 4 stages, data on the passage of which is available online and in reports after the order has been completed.
Mobile version of Logistics
The application will make the delivery process as simple and comfortable for the courier as possible:
- confirm / reject the order buttons and call the customer are available when you click on the application;
- the route is laid using a third-party application; thus, it is always in sight and does not interfere with the work with orders;
- detailed information on the order is shown, including weight, cost, delivery time, delivery address, unloading time, customer comments;
- sending photos with explanations to the dispatcher to report updated information on the order;
- internal chat with the dispatcher to solve any delivery problems.
