The device is intended for collection and analysis and short-term forecasting of meteorological data. It can also transmit data via GPRS. Transformed into analog and digital signals, the data is sent for processing to the head unit, and after saving - to the server. For data visualization and analysis, special software is used (not included in the delivery set, purchased separately).
The device is mainly used in agriculture. Data on the climate of the area are necessary to assess the likelihood of disease of certain crops. The modular design makes it possible not to purchase a complete set of delivery if there is no need for it, but to be limited only to the sensors necessary for specific plants. If there is a need for new types of sensors, they can be installed later. The device protocol is compatible with the BITREK generic protocol.
The device is in sleep mode most of the time, which allows it to last longer on a single charge. Exit from sleep mode is initiated by a timer signal (its time and frequency are set by the user), after which the sensors record the readings and transmit them to the head unit. Timer schedules for taking readings from sensors and for transmitting data to the server are set separately.
Interesting features of the model:
- The ability to work around the clock. In the daytime, the model is powered by a solar battery, in the dark - from a renewable 12 V battery. When it becomes brighter outside, the battery automatically goes into a recharge state.
- Continuous battery operation with connected sensors. In standard operation mode (with data transmission to the head unit 4 times per hour and to the server 8 times a day) the device can operate for more than three days. The data transmission frequency can be adjusted as desired.
- Modular design that allows the user to independently select a set of extensions.
- The maximum signal conversion error is 0.2%.
- The design of the case allows to transfer high air humidity.
- A large number of various sensors (humidity of leaves, air, direction of precipitation, different temperature sensors, etc.).
- Included controller with GSM modem.
- Ability to work in the temperature range from -40 to +60 ° C.
- A large number of sensors and a large set of tools for data analysis allow the device to be considered a flagship device, which leads to its rather high price.
