Traffic light remote control module

The traffic light remote control module is realized due to the radar connected to the traffic light, installed at a distance of ≈300 m from it. This radar records the speed of an approaching car, if the driver of this vehicle violates the speed limit, the radar sends a command to turn on the red signal to the traffic light. Accordingly, the offender will have to stop.

This method of traffic regulation not only suppresses violations of the speed limit, but also prevents further similar incidents. Firstly, the driver will already know that, if he exceeds the speed, he will have to linger at the intersection because of the included red light. Secondly, the red signal will turn on for all directions, which means that the offender is waiting for a wave of negativity and condemnation from the rest of the traffic participants.

Also, this module is capable of ensuring the safe passage of special vehicles along the technical lane. If the radar detects the approach of a car in a dedicated lane, the traffic light will automatically switch to red light for all directions. After passing the vehicle, the traffic light will automatically return to its previous position.
