Multipurpose surveillance device for monitoring the movement of moving objects. It can be used for a wide range of purposes - tracking the location of commercial vehicles, freight transport, control of employees on a private car. Having determined the coordinates of the object, it transmits the information to the dispatch center using the GSM 900/1800 mobile communication standard.
The body of the device is completely protected from dust. Splashing rain should not adversely affect functionality, however, this model does not apply to devices with enhanced protection against water, therefore the manufacturer does not recommend using it to control water transport. The device should be placed outside the driver's reach (compact size and no cables simplify this task). The user can set the time settings for the functioning - the duration of the sleep mode, the time for determining the GPS coordinates and others.
Before use, a SIM card must be inserted into the device. It is necessary to remove the PIN-code from it and keep the phone book empty. The back cover of the device is removed before mounting the card. The initial configuration of the device is carried out by directly connecting it to a computer. With further use, it is possible to remotely send some data from the server to the tracker.
Interesting model features
- Support for additional LBS location: outside the coverage area of the satellite GPS signal, cell towers help to position the object.
- Open data transfer protocol.
- UART interface for connecting to a computer for configuration and repair work. These procedures require a dedicated USB to UART converter, sold separately.
- Autonomous functioning and no need for special installation. The device is equipped with a capacious battery (it cannot be recharged). If you send data on the position of the load once a day, the battery charge (3200 mA) will last for 3-4 years of operation.
- The model can work in the "Chase" mode (without going into sleep mode), but the battery in this case is consumed faster. Sleep mode can be forced through a switch or key.
- The model supports FOTA technology, which makes it possible to remotely change the firmware and settings during a new session with the server.
- Efficiency remains at temperatures from -30 to +70 ° С.
