A GPSM tracker is installed in the car, which has a built-in accelerometer (three-axis acceleration sensor) and an input for connecting to the car's CAN-bus for reading on-board parameters.

2. Control of the force of pressing the gas pedal. The force of pressing the accelerator pedal is read via the CAN bus. If the driver constantly presses the accelerator pedal, the fuel consumption increases significantly. At the same time, in urban conditions, the force of pressing the gas pedal does not lead to an acceleration of getting from point A to point B. The risk of getting into an accident, engine wear, and destruction of the chassis of the car increases. As a rule, constantly squeezing the gas to the floor is typical for “twitchy” drivers. For business, this style of driving a hired driver does nothing good.

3. Control of the force of pressing the brake pedal. Smooth braking Smooth acceleration characterizes the driver who is driving in economy mode, reduces tire wear. This criterion also applies to monitoring the operation of the ABS.

4. Control of the speed of acceleration and deceleration. The data is taken from the readings of the three-axis accelerometer, which is transmitted by the GPS tracker.

5. Exceeding the speed limit. In addition to compliance with traffic rules, it allows you to reduce fuel consumption and reduce the risk of an accident. Data is taken from GPS readings.

To assess “ideal driving”, you need to drive:

Stopping several times and accelerating along a good road.

  1. Drive carefully on a bad road. If it is impossible to go around the hole, you must roll over it slowly.
  2. The sensor readings collected for this reference ride are used as a basis for judging driving. If the critical acceleration exceeds the reference delay, the driver will be penalized. A driver who drives without violations of these parameters is given high marks.
