The GPSM Clever Scan visual passenger flow meter is widely used in buses, trolleybuses, subways and other public transport vehicles. It has Hisilicon high performance hardware video accelerated communication media processor. The applied depth measurement algorithm based on two cameras performs dynamic detection of objects passing under the camera, determining the height and trajectory of movement. Due to this, high accuracy is achieved and passenger flow data is provided online. Passenger counter has RS-232 or RS-485 for connection to an on-board computer, autoinformer or tracker for data transmission to the server. Collection of statistics, analysis of statistics, comparison of the number of passengers by routes, time, stops are performed using the GPSM server software.

Clever Scan has an integrated design that combines a depth camera and a main computation control board to minimize interference factors in camera image information to the lowest possible level and possibly minimize the complexity of wiring. One-button debug mode allows you to quickly complete the collection of environmental parameters required by the meter, without the help of other equipment terminals.

1. RJ45 network interface. The RJ45 interface allows you to view and set the operating status and control parameters. At the same time, Clever Scan counter sends passenger traffic data to the specified server in real time via the RJ45 network interface.
2. Composite video output interface. Can be connected to car display for visual display of passenger counting results. It can also be connected to a car video recorder to save dynamic video of the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers in real time.
3. RS485 or RS232 interface. Provides one-way data transmission to third-party equipment and configures baud rate and communication ID
4. Door closing signal. The automatic passenger counting system can receive a door status (open / closed) input signal with an analog input with a voltage range of 8-36 V. The Clever Scan counter stops counting when the vehicle door is closed and automatically starts counting when the vehicle doors are opened..
