Video passenger information system

The passenger video information system improves the passenger experience by improving the quality of service and the convenience of urban transport infrastructure.

The multimedia information system for passengers consists of an auto informer and one or more color LCD, TFT, IPS displays installed in the cabin. The display can be - pre-installed at the factory of the bus manufacturer (in some new buses), or retrofitted by our company - a color display for the bus.

The onboard multimedia system is a solution entirely designed and developed by GPSM to provide passengers in the bus with real-time information about the position of the bus on the route, the predicted time of arrival, advertising information.

The displays of our company use IPS matrices with a wide viewing angle, which provide good visibility and high definition images at wide angles.

GPSM onboard information systems are essential to help passengers:

• people with disabilities (hearing problems), thanks to the convenient visual display of location information on displays;

Available types

The main feature of the GPSM onboard multimedia system is flexibility: to better meet all information needs, different types of monitors can be installed, TFT from standard formats to the new Stretch formats (stretched in width), in various configurations (one-sided, multiple sequential).

How it works?

The route auto informer is installed in the driver's cab.

The multimedia information system is controlled remotely via a web interface developed by GPSM. Thanks to a convenient web interface, you can remotely control all connected equipment. In addition, the system can be configured to display the same information for the entire bus fleet.

The system works in automatic mode, displaying and sounding stops depending on the position on the route, or in manual mode (can be controlled by the driver). The autoinformer can be connected to the Internet via WI-FI, GPRS, GSM, 3G, LTE, 5G, Ethernet.
