Speed scoreboard SSR-2 Pro

The SSR-2 Pro speed control board is designed to measure the speed of passing cars and alert the driver if his speed is within acceptable limits. If the speed of a moving car goes beyond a certain boundary (usually 40 km / h), the board warns about this with an indication - symbols displayed in red. If the speed of the car does not exceed the set limits, a “thumbs up” sign is displayed with green LEDs, and the speed value is displayed in the same color.

The device can be installed on roads with any number of lanes, the main thing is that the location is convenient for drivers to see. With a large road width (3 or more lanes), one model is installed for each lane. LED displays of this type are equipped with road sections with an increased risk of accidents: areas with heavy traffic, insufficient visibility, as well as places near children's and medical institutions.

How smart scoreboard works

When the car enters the monitoring area, the sensor is automatically triggered, and the radar built into the display measures the speed of the vehicle. The received number is displayed on the screen (in kilometers per hour). Taking measurements and submitting them to the screen takes 100 milliseconds.

The following display options are available for different driver behaviors:

• When the vehicle speed is within acceptable limits, the device displays a numerical speed value and a thumbs up approval mark. Both indications are shown in green.
• If the driver slightly exceeded the upper limit of the permitted speed (by less than 10 km / h), its value will be shown on the display with yellow LEDs and the inscription "OK" in the same color.
  
• In case of serious overstepping of the prescribed limits (more than 10 km / h), the feedback symbols are shown in red. In this case, if the speed of the car has not yet reached 80 km / h, the display shows the value of the speed and the sign of disapproval "thumbs down".
  
• If the driver accelerates more than 80 km / h, the numbers are not displayed: instead, the display shows a dislike all the time.

Providing feedback to motorists influences behavior and helps to reduce accident statistics. Reinforcement of correct behavior with approval (like) creates an incentive for the driver to comply with the speed limit in the future.

Interesting features of the model

The device can operate both from a 220 V network and in an autonomous mode from a solar battery. The delivery set is selected in accordance with the wishes of the customer.

The bright LEDs make it easy to see images on the screen, even in very sunny weather. There is also an automatic brightness control with adjustment to the level of ambient light, so that at dusk the displayed images will not hurt the driver's eyes.

Built-in cooling and heating units (included in the basic package) help to regulate the temperature of the device in hot weather or during frost. Thanks to this, the device can be operated in a wide temperature range.

Telemetry module that transmits recorded changes to the software, where statistics are prepared. The transmission is carried out via the mobile Internet.

Photo and video recording of violations is made on a high-resolution camera equipped with an optical zoom lens. The data is stored on the built-in memory of the scoreboard, server, or sent to a private telegram channel. You can download or view a photo / video either by connecting directly to the scoreboard or server, registering on the Telegram channel or using the desktop program we provide.

System for automatically turning on the red light of traffic lights.

A board with a built-in radar is installed 300 meters before a traffic light and records the speed of an approaching car. If this car exceeds the preset speed limits, then the radar automatically switches the traffic light to red.

First, the driver will see a dislike on the speed board, and if he does not slow down, the traffic light will switch to red and the driver will have to stop.

As a result, the driver will know in advance that he will be delayed at the intersection if he violates the speed limit, and will delay the rest of the drivers, which will cause a lot of discontent in his direction.

The red light switching system can also serve for the safe passage of emergency vehicles. When a special vehicle approaches, the radar will turn on a red light for other road users.

IMPORTANT! These functions are optimal for unloaded roads, for example, in a village or suburb, so they are installed as an option (that is, at the request of the customer).

The sealed steel case with a resistant anti-corrosion polymer coating protects the internal filling of the device from moisture ingress. Construction details are nickel-plated or galvanized. Thanks to this, the device can be used in regions with increased precipitation and serve for more than 10 years.

You can also configure the speed limit and connect to the control unit of the device remotely using SMS messages.

The device software collects traffic statistics. The user can display data for any period of time, with the display of the minimum and maximum speed. The memory can store data collected over a year.

The device is distinguished not only by the ease of installation on a pole, but also by the convenience of replacing the necessary modules. You can attach the equipment to the pole with a steel tape in just 15 minutes. You can change the components of the system by opening the front panel. In this case, the equipment itself does not need to be dismantled from the attachment point. By opening the panel like a cabinet door, you can replace the ventilation device, SIM card or other components.

The SSR-2 Pro speed control board helps to regulate the speed on the roads without using more rigidity measures (such as a speed bump) and inform drivers about how correct their behavior is in a given section. Installing equipment helps to reduce the number of accidents and overspeeding in difficult areas.
