The SSR-2 scoreboard is used to measure the speed of traffic, notify the driver about the values obtained, record and analyze data. The device is installed in places with an intensive pedestrian flow and a high frequency of road accidents.
The SSR-2 radar indicator is an effective method of reducing vehicle speed without the direct involvement of an inspector. The digital display data is clearly visible to drivers. To translate the values on the display, LEDs with auto-adjustment of the illumination intensity for weather conditions are used.
Reliable construction with an aluminum frame ensures a long service life of the display, resistance to harsh operating conditions.
Photo and video recording
When the car exceeds the preset speed limit, a photo or video recording (optional) takes place with the data being saved to the device memory, to the server, or with automatic sending of materials to the Telegram channel.
The quality of captured photos and videos is due to the high resolution of the built-in camera (12MP) and a lens with a specially selected optical zoom.
All data can be viewed in several ways:
- by connecting to the server;
- by directly connecting to the scoreboard;
- on a closed telegram channel;
- using the software provided by us.
The SS-2 provides several ways of storing photo / video materials: internal memory of the device, FTP server, Telegram channel.
System of automatic switching on of red light of traffic light
This system consists of a built-in radar and a traffic light itself. The board is installed 300 meters before the traffic light. The purpose of the radar is to transmit a signal to turn on the red light to a traffic light in the event of an overspeeding of an approaching car. If a car approaching the intersection exceeds the speed, then the radar will automatically turn on the red traffic light after fixing the excess.
Those. the offender will first see a dislike on the SSR-2 speed board, and if he does not slow down, the traffic light will switch to red and the driver will have to stop.
This way of adjusting the movement is very effective. The driver knows in advance that the traffic light will switch to red and will not exceed the speed in order not to delay himself and other road users.
This system can also work in the other direction. When a special transport (ambulance, emergency services) approaches, the radar will turn on a red light for other road users, thereby providing the special transport with unhindered passage.
It should be noted that such functions are optimal for unloaded roads, for example, in a village or suburb, so they are installed optionally (i.e. at the request of the customer).
Interesting model features
The unit is equipped with two color displays. The first is used to display speed values on the screen, the second is used to broadcast animations (like / dislike, emoticons).
It is possible to complete the display with equipment for the autonomous operation of the indicator. In this case, two options for power supply can be used: an uninterruptible power supply device - provides SS-2 operation for 18 hours, a solar battery - is used to supply current in the daytime. The equipment allows you to install the display in places where connection to the mains is impossible or requires significant costs.
The scoreboard can broadcast a digital sequence in three color modes: red, yellow, green. Images are presented to the screen in two colors: red, green.
The device captures a large amount of data and stores information in memory. The obtained statistics can be used for analysis and management decisions.

The SS-2 provides several ways to control equipment: downloading data and setting the operating mode of the pointer from a short distance (from the car) via Bluetooth, transmitting and analyzing statistics via GPRS to any PC, receiving information via USB.
