BI 820 TREK OBD

BI 820 TREK OBD is designed for vehicle monitoring, which is equipped with a diagnostic OBDI-II communication connector. The device is used to monitor the technical condition of the vehicle and determine its geographic coordinates.

The BI 820 series tracker is designed to solve several problems:

• collection of information from the on-board computer of cars through the OBDI-II connector;
  
• obtaining data about the location of the vehicle, the route of movement and the speed of movement;
• sending the collected BI 820 information to the server for processing the records using the software.

To transfer data from the device to the user, cellular networks of operators of the GSM 900/1800 standard are used. The location of the vehicle is tracked using the NAVSTAR GPS satellite navigation system. The route of the vehicle is determined by the data of the accelerometer and the GPS or GPS / GLONASS receiver.

How the BI 820 TREK OBD works

The device collects and processes information in real time. With the help of a built-in GPS or GPS / GLONASS receiver, the terminal determines the coordinates of the vehicle and the movement parameters: speed, time, direction. The tracker receives data on the technical condition of the vehicle from the vehicle's on-board computer.

The received information is stored in the non-volatile memory BI 820. From the internal storage, records are sent at a certain frequency or at the time of fixing the parameters to the dispatcher's console via the GSM mobile network. Information exchange is carried out using SMS and GPRS.

The terminal transmits data to the dispatcher's console if it has access to cellular communication of the GSM 900/1800 standard. When the vehicle is outside the coverage area of ​​the mobile network, the device switches to the "black box" operating mode. At the same time, BI 820 continues to collect and record information, and transmits information to the user when access to the mobile network is resumed.

BI 820 makes it possible to obtain a large amount of information on the technical condition of the machine from the on-board computer: consumption and level of fuels and lubricants, mileage according to the counter, engine speed and operating time, t of intake air and coolant, atmospheric pressure (absolute), position of the accelerator pedal, calculated load value on the engine.
