ASOP land transport in Ukraine

The ASOP system is a complex of hardware and software that allows passengers of public transport to pay non-cash fares. This system is developing at a rapid pace, not only abroad, but also in most cities of Ukraine. What is a validator?

A payment terminal, or GPSM Lucky-Pay validator, is a credit card payment device. This device is already familiar to users by the example of a widespread cashless payment system in a retail network. The validator works through the wireless Internet system and transmits data to the central GPSM server.

The main advantage of the terminal is the autonomous type of operation, which does not require connection to the vehicle's on-board network. With the help of this equipment, it is possible to launch an autonomous fare collection system in a short time, with minimal costs. This will help train passengers to use electronic cards for checkout. When paying, the validator prints a paper coupon, which stores information about the payment, route and time. In this way, the passenger receives certain guarantees, and the company benefits from modern accounting of all payment methods.

Citizen Card

A citizen's card is a failure analogue of a bank plastic card used by most Ukrainian citizens. Funds for payment can be replenished in several of the most affordable ways. That is, it can be: a monthly pass, a certain number of trips, or an electronic wallet.

How to top up the card

An increase in cards in circulation will require the creation of a replenishment system. That is, the next step in the implementation of ASOP can be called the creation of a convenient and simple network for quick replenishment of cards. Replenishment of funds on the card can be done using the self-service terminal. The issue of accounting and servicing privileged categories of the population is an integral part of the implementation of ASOP.
