What is a city map and how is it issued?
A city map is an RFID or NFC card that allows you to receive municipal services. A kind of city map can be a transport card. By attaching a transport card to the validator, you can pay for travel in public transport. Transport cards are:
- Preferential. Certain categories of citizens are granted the right of travel. These cards may have restrictions: 1) by the number of trips; 2) by time; 3) by the total cost of travel. Preferential category cards must be personalized. To do this, upon issue, a full name, photo, group of benefits are printed on the card.
- Reusable travel ticket. The passenger replenishes the card balance using a mobile service, either online or through a kiosk, and spends money. Card data can be: 1) for the number of trips; 2) cards limited in time; 3) cards from which the pre-filled balance is debited.
City card design
Our company develops the design of cards, providing several options to choose from:
How are maps printed, issued and distributed?
The issuance of cards is automated using the GPSM Smart City Transport software module. You can order the issue of a card online by uploading documents through your personal account, or by visiting the office of the department responsible for issuing cards in person.
To organize the issuance of personalized cards (with photo, name, card type), you need the following equipment and materials:
- A computer.
- Card reader.
- Photo or webcam.
- A printer for plastic cards and consumables for it.
The passenger visits the office, the card is issued very quickly and conveniently:
- The operator takes a photo of the passenger through a mobile application on a smartphone, or through a webcam (using the GPSM program), the photo is automatically uploaded to the system.
- The operator fills in the full name, selects the type of card.
- Scans a dummy card.
- Presses "Save and Print". After that, a photo, full name of the passenger is printed on the card blank.
Order a card remotely
To order a card, a resident of the city is registered in the system. Using a personal account, he uploads photos of his documents and fills out the forms on his own.
After checking all the data and documents, the system operator prints the card and sends the card by mail, courier delivery or transfers to the point of issue.
2. Installing transport validators
Validators are devices installed in transport, which serve to pay for travel using:
- transport card or resident card;
- bank card;
- a one-time ticket using a QR code. The validator has a built-in optical QR and barcode reader;

What is U1 - the driver's main device for?
3. Providing passengers with information about the position of transport online on the city map.
- position on the route of transport;
- deviations from the schedule;
- display lag / lead.
Information about the location of transport on the route is also conveniently displayed in a linear form:
