Radar speed electronic display

GPSM Safe speed radar is a speed detection and controls radar with a display. It displays the speed of a passing car.

When the vehicle enters the speed radar detection area (approximately 600 m from the sign), the radar automatically detects the vehicle’s speed and displays it on the LED display to remind the driver to reduce the speed in time (for example, in front of the school or other dangerous areas), it is most effective to reduce the number of road traffic crashes.

A bright sign attracts the attention of drivers and reduces speed.

The algorithm of work is set depending on the speed limit on a particular street.

Vehicle speed is divided into three zones:

1. Driving without overspeeding.
2. Traffic exceeding up to 10 km / h.
3. Driving at a speed exceeding 10 km / h.

The most common speed limit on the streets near the school is 40 km / h. In this case, when a vehicle observing the speed limit enters the radar coverage area, its speed will be displayed in green on the screen:

When the car approaches the scoreboard, the system will thank such a driver and show him a like.

If a car slightly exceeds the speed limit (up to 10 km / h), the speed value will be displayed in yellow if a car gets into the coverage area of the Rada. At the same time, the scoreboard will update the speed change with the discreteness of 10 times per second, allowing the driver to see how his speed decreases and get into the "green zone":

If the speed limit is exceeded by more than 10 km / h, the driver's speed will be displayed in bright red:

Video and photographic recording of violations of the speed limit

Photo and video shooting of the moment when the speed of a passing car is exceeded is provided with a 12MP camera and optimal optical zoom.

All photo and video files are automatically sent to a private Telegram channel, and are also stored indefinitely in the scoreboard memory and on the server.

All data on the fact of speeding are provided by the system in photo / video + text format.

Auto turn on red traffic light

This feature is installed on rural roads.

The display has a built-in radar that can be connected to a traffic light. In the event that an approaching car violates the speed limit, the traffic light will automatically switch to red light. In this case, a red signal will be given to both passing and oncoming traffic.

This kind of punishment for traffic violations will induce drivers to move within the speed limit. Indeed, in case of speeding up, he will not only have to linger at the traffic light, but also meet in a wave of negativity in his own direction from the rest of the traffic participants who were delayed through his fault.

In addition, this function ensures the safe passage of emergency vehicles. When a car approaches along the technical lane, the board will switch the traffic light to red.

This driver feedback system effectively reduces the average speed of vehicles on the street. According to statistics, it reduces the risk of accidents associated with speeding by more than 5 times, making the street safer for drivers and pedestrians.
