BLE RFID tag is an identifier of trailed equipment designed to control its movement and location. Such a device is suitable for accurately determining which type of trailed equipment at a particular time is working with a certain type of equipment. In addition, using the BLE module, it is possible to identify vehicles arriving to load grain.

Interesting features of the model
BLE Trailer Identifier is used in various industrial sectors, mostly in the agricultural sector. The contactless reader is a module of the Bitrek Connect system, but it can work separately from it with some restrictions.
Features of the device:
- The device works with Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
- The equipment of the device is a radio module, which is installed on a vehicle (tractor or tractor) and a radio tag installed on a hitch. The radio module is placed on a tractor, combine or tractor on the outer wall, which faces the hitch. The module works in the receive mode all the time.
- The principle of operation is as follows: every 5 seconds, the radio tag transmits its unique identifier. The data is transmitted via Bluetooth. The radio beacon receives it and transmits it to the Connect Bus. Subsequent data transmission to a master (eg actuator controller) is possible using the RS485 interface and the COBA digital data protocol.
- The mode of operation with the participation of the driver is available - when the radio module is on the combine, and the radio tag is at the driver of the truck, into which the grain needs to be loaded. In this case, the driver presses the radio tag button when approaching the combine, the radio beacon identifies the vehicle, and if the identifier matches, the operator loads.
- The maximum number of accepted tags is 8 pieces. To prevent interruption of the signal of the "native" trailing device by accident (for example, a similar tractor with a trailer passing nearby), a 10-second timeout is set.
- You can divide the tags into several groups and set a rule according to which the radio module will work only with a certain group of tags.
The RFID tag has its own power source, which is valid for 3 years. Therefore, it can be put on trailed implements without its own power source. The device is enclosed in a sealed housing with a degree of protection IP65. The top plane of the label during installation must face the radio module. A metal bracket is used for fastening.
To change the settings of the BLE tag of trailed equipment, only the COM-Sender programs and the BLE programmer are used.
The longest distance between the module and the tag is 15 meters. The BLE identifier is easy to assemble and does not require any special installation skills.
